What remains to be dreamed for someone who has reached the pinnacle of power and is drowning in wealth? Of course, it is to make it last forever. And so, Shogun Nariyoshi Tokugawa set out to find a way to live, if not forever, then for a very, very long time. The recipe was found. According to legend, on a small island, which the locals called paradise for its breathtaking beauty, there is hidden either the formula for immortality or an artifact that allows one to become a god. But paradise turned out to be hellish. All those sent in search of the secret of immortality, servants and soldiers, never returned. Deciding to protect his loyal forces, the shogun sends the most terrifying criminals of the era, who are already sentenced to death, on a suicidal mission. The price of eternal life for the shogun is their chance to survive and return to their families. But will the hellish paradise share its secret with such people? And will the shogun fulfill his promise to them?
